ing from the epiphyseal region of long bones. A review of the literature reveals that the most common locations for this tumor are the knee and proximal humerus (14). The most common age group is the second decade of life. Cases of chondroblastoma of the rib in the literature are few and far between (5-7); the patients in these reports were older than typical patients with epiphyseal chondroblastoma and had an excellent prognosis following the resection of the tumor. Herein, we report on a case of chondroblastoma of the rib, as well as providing a brief review of the literature.
